Alhamdullillah, hari ni boleh sambung blog ni lagi. Sejak kebelakangan ni sejak hilang camera dah tak berapa ada mood sangat nak update blog sebab tak boleh nak letak gambar baru2 tentang perkembangan kitaorang kat Doha nih...! tapi ari ni rasa ok je walaupun tak de gambar.

Lama dah tak update blog nih...!!! bukannya ape maybe sebab frust my compact Casio camera dah hilang. Tak dapatlah nak update secara bergambar.

Last one day event dah start winning, highest game score 237 dapatlah buat bayar harga drilling bola.

Hari ni, mmmmmm my GMC terlanggar curb side road barrier, so tire pecah. Bukan tu je, dengan rim belah depan tu dah benggkok. Bukan tu je, side airbags(both right + left) meletup, tersembur keluar. Apa lagi berentilah, kat tepi depan AlJazera Support Service building. First sekali kena find a cab for a wife to proceed to Markhiya Compound for an interview (....was late so rushinglah).

Actually we've been to the old office, so a bit of clumsy in driving to meet the 10am appointment.

Wait for the police to reach there ...just 5 hrs until 3pm but they never came. Finally, change the spare tire and drive with the curtain terkontang-kanting(the airbag).

Selesai report polis kul 4 so hari ni kena proceed to QIC, sebab QIC ni tutup kul 3.

Kenan saman 100....hhuuhhhh....QATAR.....!!!!!

Esok kena selesaikan jugak hal GMC nih, kena hantar gak kat MANNAI, ntah bila plak boleh siap. mmmmm KARWA-lah gamaknya RAYE ni.

My New Bowling Ball ....On The Way

Boring dengan game pressure....at last aku decide to buy new balls from internet bowling.com. Hope, no more excuse to be in the middle 170-180 score. But not yet, as at today 11th Dec 2007 this is the tracking of the journey of my new balls (1 for me Storm Attitude Shift HP ball 12 lbs -spinner- and 1 for my son Aiman MoRich Awesome Revs HP ball-13lbs hook).

Actually Dec is month of birthdays....This week we will celebrate Aidil's (Shah's + Dilla's), Farhan's(Rizal's + Yatie's), Khizmie's, Baby Aiza' also and few more as in the email group wishes.

Happy Birthday Baby Aiza...

10th Dec is the birthday of my youngest, Lovely Che Aiza Hana, she's 3 now. I'm too buzy with Qatar Open for 4 days (9th-13th) so we celebrate @ QBC where with mom's homemade sarang semut and choc moist cakes. She made more for my office made to taste as a kesyukuran as she got an interview today with brit based company, in multimedia industries.

Happy B'day Babe Aiza.... I love U....(look how she's turn to be at 3 year old)


last night try to get to toys'r us but it was too late. It closed @ 9pm, so I could not get anything yet for her, maybe tonight after Team event for QBF Qatar Open.




For my wife, hope today will be the final of all shortlisted....(hopefully). Actually, this time she's downstairs waiting for me to sent her for an interview, well that will be at 10 am, but she has been ready since 6.30 am....hhhhhuhhhhh.(Insyaallah berbaloilah tu....)

Day Off ----

Hari ni aku cuti and pagi tadi main bowling ngan Wife and Baby Aiza....practice for tomorrow tournament. Satu QBC tu kita book ha ha ha tak de orang aku + Wife + Baby + staff kat QBC Je. Aku ada 7 hari cuti kena langasai tahun ni.....mmmmmmm. maybe 1 day 1 week.

Jap lagi nak gi Villagio ngan anak2, saje je jalan2 main Heellys.

Mula2 cam tulah tak de idea pas tu...kencang sikit (kalau ada masa), tapi kalau KJane boleh je isi cerita2 bowling, lagi2 sekarang ni tengah dok rancak Pahang (Invitational) International Open (I think..)

Logic...Tak Logic....

Semalam kita orang, aku + King+ Atuq + Khairul Senior = QTel + Hafizi (QA) arrange utk main badminton kat QTel Sport Club, AlSadd. Malangnya si Hafizi ni takleh masuk, entah apa2 entah, guest tak boleh masuk, si pak Guard ni plak memg lurus-bendul bukannya apa pun kalau diorg masuk. Aku menyumpah2 dalam hati, mmg menyusahkan. Nak tak nak si hafizi ni kenalah balik semula, nasib baik gak rumahya dekat kalau jauh mahu dia pun menyumpah2 gak.
Tempat tu bukannya penuh pun kosong memanjang, or maybe penuh ngan hantu2 je....!

Logic ke tak logic diorang tak bagi masuk...


Takpelah Fizi, lain kali kita cari tempat independent je main, tak pun kau ambik Powerkite/Stuntkite ngkau yg kat Msia tu, kita main kat sealine nanti atau pun datang rumah aku main PingPong. Tak pun join aku lawan bowling setiap Khamis, kaukan dah Naib Juara ari tuh masa MAQ Merdeka Tournament.

So sebelum ni aku ada invite few friends untuk badminton seperti Rizal Kentz, Aizal-AlJazera, so nampak gayanya Rain-Check dululah ye...until aku dapat new place.... sorry guys...!!

Planning For the Week

Ummmm........ Rizal, Khizmie are planning to have a Crabbing night this coming Thursday, but I'm having my weekly bowling tournament. I think I will joining them afterwards.

My bowling will finish at almost 11pm, travelling to Semeisma takes about 20-25 mins so I'll just see their catch only and if I'm lucky I will also go for the crab.

I'm Back...Again

It has been more than a week since my last update....(last was on 10th Nov). There has been a busy week since then. We have had BBQ Party, Stunt Kiting (daily), Corniche Picnic, Laksam Making, Keropok Lekor + Sos Making, Weekly Bowling Tournament and a lot more.

These are my kids.....they know how to control the kites already.









They are playing in the sand, while playing stunt kite, almost every day near house area.

These are pictures during BBQ Party. Actually we are not planning for a big one but it turned to like one.











During this week The ladies (wives) have had a day for Keropok Lekor Making. My wife one of them and I'm lucky enough to have had a Qatar Keropok Lekor, and it was good.

On Thursday, like before me and family joining the QBC Fun Game and I had a great day because my score was 1,167 pin fall (avg = 195), but everybody else seems to be in top formed. Never-mind, try again next week to grab the > QR1,600 cash prizes.


On Friday(16 Nov), my wife got tempahan Laksam from Megat Rosman, one of our new friends in Doha. So, she was busy for the whole day, but my kids and I were having a picnic with Shah & Family + Adam & family + Aizal & Family @ Corniche since 7 am up to 10.30 am. During this weekend there are Power Boat racing at the Corniche but seems not so happening.

Thursday and Friday News.......

Semalam sempat join bowling tournament @ QBC. My wife and I managed to enter the games but no luck to win. We thought that the format was 10 pin but 9 pin instead, never mind next week we'll win (hopefully). I would prefer 10pin as compared to 9/8 pin format because of the spare. However because of the prizes I will do the trick to win.

For those of you who don't know what it is the 9/8/3-6-9 format here it goes :

10 pin Tap - all 10 pin drop in 1st throw considered Strike(indicate by Black strike markX) and any left pin (if not 10 pin) drop in 2nd throw is a Spare.
9pin Tap - Only 9 pin drop is considered Strike throw (indicate by red strike mark X) and any pin drop (if not 9/10 ins drop) considered Spare score.
8 pin Tap - same as 9 pin format but 8 pin needed.
3-6-9 Tap - Frame 3rd, 6th and 9th is a free Strike. What it means is, you only need to throw 7 times out of 10 frames.

Anyway, I'm trying to gather as many Malaysian as I can to form the M'sian Bowling Federation(Club) whatever necessary and the minimum requirement is 50 M'sian. The Federation/Club will be registered under MAQ/Embassy as Penaung. So, whoever out there who would like to join please let me know, and I'll guarantee we will enjoy bowling more than any other sport.

Program Hari Rabu...

Rasanya hari ni kami sekeluarga nak pergi praktis bowling kat QBC. Esok plannya nak masuk 'Thursday Tournament'. Last week kita dah missed sebab pergi crabbing so this week tak leh miss punye, oleh sebab itu, hari ni kena praktis sikit bukannya apa kot2 esok teruk sangat. Kita tak berharap sangat utk menang tapi main biar puas hati...ye tak...?

Saturday Shopping....

I bought a 'New iPod-Classic with 160 Gb'. Woow...actually it is good to listen/watch to something using iPod. With up to 160GB of storage, iPod classic allows me to carry everything in my collection — up to 40,000 songs or up to 200 hours of video — everywhere I go. In a completely new, even thinner, all-metal design. But the problem is I need to download mp4 ipod movie, and all my avi DIVX collections (hundreds of them, movies+series) cannot be used on this iPod...frust but what the heck I still admire it for the look in fact (so slim)

oooh yea..! almost forgot to mention that I also bought a new stunt kite. Even though already have beamer (power kite) but this stunt kite really don't need larger space to fly. But still this 'EOLO Venice ' model is kind of non 'Zero Wind' to fly, in other words I do really need a little bit of wind to have her up on the air and do stuff. Below are the spec:

Speed - 6/10 - You have to be alert to maneuver
Precision - 8/10 - Move at ease
Free style - 5/10 - can do some tricks also
Draging - 2/10 - very light, no need to worry about being carried away by the wind

The next day

Friday, 2nd Nov, Plan to support our national squash player, Nicole David @ Khalifa Stadium, but couldn't go, due to busy time slot. After Solat Jumaat, went to Wan Aidi's Raya gathering. Met few people there.

After, that, around 5 accompanied Rizal's, entertaining his back-home neighbour, who came here on business trip. We went to Souq Waqif, and had a light meals at Mandarin (the branch of the one near Jarir Book Store, infront of Rameez International).

After that send the guest home and we went to Jakarta Restaurant ( now change to X-Cafe - with internet upstairs) for late dinner, and Rizal and I were having 'Nasi Goreng Kambing' and it was good. (actually we are regular there at Jakarta....)

I'm Back...

Dah lama tak Update blog ni...last sekali 1 Nov, activiti Crabbing pun tak sempat nak cerita.

Kita sampai dlm kul 7pm Maghrib kat rumah, tapi Rizal'family kat Masjid di Petrol Pam Jalan Ke Al-Khor, tempat tu kira meeting pointlah. 6 Kereta moved dulu, Issyam's, Kimi's, Izni's, Ahmad's, Jimi's dan aku and Giant already there. Sampai2 je terus mulakan acara BBQ. A few minutes later the rest sampai, wow..! meriahlah malam tu, dengan budak2 memang seronok.

Giant, sebab dia sampai awal, dia dah mula turun laut dulu tapi pada masa tu air tak surut sangat so agak susah gak nak dapatkan ketam2 ni, lagi pun bulan separuh je masa tu, kata orang bulan mengambang sesuai cari ketam. Tak tahulah alasannya apa, samada 'Ketam banyak' atau pun 'Ketam berisi'. Hasilnya 2/3 ekor je. Kita org mulakan sejurus lepas makan. Wah...!! ngan anak2 semua ikut sekali tapi tak lama, sebab bebudak ni cepat sangat takut.

Aku buat 2 trip, first one dapatlah 3 ekor. Masa tu frust gak sebab ketam tak banyak campur pulak ngan set2 Philipino + India ni pun datang ber-crabbing, lagi pun aku bawak banyak sangat peralatan so susah nak handle sebab turun sorang2. Second time aku turun around 11pm ngan bini, so senang sikit handle peralatan sebab ada assistant. Final result dapatlah dalam 20 ekor kira oklah tu, tapi memang bestlah, nanti next time bulan mengambang kita nak buat lagi.

Kita start packing balik dalam kul 2.30 am, bebudak ada yang nyenyak dalam Khemah tapi terpaksa kejutkan sebab kita tak prepare utk sleep-over, mmmm maybe next time. Sorang2 khemah besar2 so next time mmg sesuai utk activiti berkhemah. Dalam banyak2 khemah, khemah Rizal yang paling susah nak pasang, aku pun tahu kenapa maybe yang default kot..(jangan marah ye Rizal..!)

So habis unpack + start moving balik dalam kul 2.50 am, and sampai rumah (aku) dalam kul 3.30 am

Moral of the story .... Khizmie tak sampai2. Ketam tu ada kirim salam sama Khizmie.

Crabbing Day...

Malam ni kita dah plan nak ke Semeisma, utk Crabbing. Semua persiapan dah siap sedia. Issyam dah ready ngan alat BBQ, ayam etc, aku pun ngan 4 baby lamb legs ....emmmmmm tengoklah nanti.

It's End of The Month Again.....

Today is the last day of October 2007. There always something on the way, like yesterday, 2 accidents and today also got one, near the Port Roundabout. It become normal nowdays .......

Last night, did go to watch Squash, and joining Giant for bowling. We bowled like crazy, kids played 2 each and we're 9 each. The score...mmmm still not improved and in fact become bad. I need to do something, I need to get the ball, our own ball...mmmm how...haa...??? Ask for the ball at the pro shop (sort of...), but the only ball available only hook ball size 16lbs and 15lbs and only 3 balls only. There are no choice for us. May be I can think of something soon, or maybe anyone who can help me...he he he...!

For the bad game, not only me, my sister in law back home, also have a bad games lately...! maybe the month itself is the 'not so good month' for bowling...!! Just kidding...!

All the way to the office (along corniche) were congested due to 2 accidents or maybe due to conference held (6th Natural Gas Conference) at Sheraton.
Talking about events, I think Our Agung will be coming to Doha for Endurance Event, not sure when, maybe after the newly appointed Ambassador report duty.
Also Nicole Ann David will be having a competition (Doha Classic) here in Doha starting yesterday, 29th Oct – 2nd November 2007. The squash will be held at Khalifa Stadium. I’m planning to support her today, below are the details:

Nicol David will commence her bid to retain the Qatar Classic, today at 2pm.
Beng Hee will play at around 3.30pm followed by Mohd Azlan Iskandar eight matches later.
Quarterfinals on Thursday start at 2pm for women and 5pm for men.
Semifinals on Friday start at 5.30pm for women and 7pm for men. Finals on Saturday start at 5.30pm.

Missing home for eid celebration. This year Raya was the first time celebrated away from home. We missed them especially during Morning of first Raya. The pix is part of my wife's family or my in laws. (Mother, Father, Brother, Sister, Nephew, Nieces, grand nephew..if they called it....! etc)

Event: on the way to Inland Sea, meeting with a lots of Jamals

Haaahhhhhhhhh ....(sigh..) Intend to go for bowling tonite but not yet confirm.

Bowling is confirm tonite, but still depending on the lane availability.

Mmmmm... it was a bad day for bowling...! Just got back from QBC (but not having bowling at all), Rameez Int (beside Jarir Book Store) and Thai Massage & Snack ( ...not having massaging for sure...).

Been to QBC but like always...frustration is a must where there always a full house. Don't go for monday bowling @8.30 pm. They are having an Inter Companies Tournament. Actually we are also invited the other day by Marlyn one of the Marketing Head of QBC, I think, but one must used Co name for entry. Actually it is a good thing for a company because they have to pun some sort of banner on the Lane Board, so it is a Advertising or Branding Strategy also. But we are not prepare to aproach our employer for that, so it is really fun for them who participate.

Due to the frustration, we are moving to Rameez International, infront of Mandarin Restnt., actuall it is like 'Mydin' back home.

After that, drived to Thai Snack in Al-Sadd, had a 'Ikan Masam Manis', Tom Yum', 'Pad Prig', ' Air Longan' and Fries for Baby Aiza.

Half an hour there, and just want to go home, met Zahid and Ayax there. Zahid working @ CDC and Ayax @ QIA. There both are just got back from home celebrating Raya with the love ones.

I'll put some pictures of them next time (havent got any this time....)

Anyway, we are going to have a big BBQ cum Crabbing this coming Thursday night (1 Nov) at Semeisma. A few geng have already confirmed, My Family, Issyam's, a few from QA, Rizal's, Khizmie ...(I think he must be there...to revenge to the one that bit him), and open to family of friends. Try to get 2 lamb legs and 'salai' on the day.

Hope we will have a good crabbing day.

Tiring Sunday....

Yesterday.
Got back from Inland Sea @ 6pm. Tired...very very tired and could not even write in the blog. I'm not sure what happened @ Inland sea, but we weren't able to find the spot for a picnic. The 4WD were stuck a few times, and to release them, huhhhhhh it was a challenging one because we only have 2 man.

Anyway, the kids still have a taste of the sea water and had a nice swim at home.

Today, emmm I think I'm gonna rest and put something to remember from long ago......

New Saturday.......

Just get ready for 'Sandduning'..........suppose to get going @ 8am...mmmmaybe a little bit delayed. Yesterday was a very full with outside activities day. We had 'attending raya' - still, 'window shopping' - also, 'eating out' - must, 'bowling' - compulsory, 'crabbing' - try. All that activities were done in a single day, and we got home from late crabbing just wanna try out - (12 mid-1 am) and got back with 3 crabs.(not bad for first timer and with a short hour). It was an addicted activity, once you can catch one, I'll promise you that....!

For bowling, huhhhh..! it was hard to get the lanes especially in the weekend evening. I have to wait for 2 hrs just to get 1 lane and only available to me @8.30, almost. They are filled with Philippinos. They have a very big club called 'All Philippinos Bowling Association', and most of the lanes are occupied by them - almost all day, all week, all the time. It is not them to blame, it means why we can't have one...? The only way to have one is that, we have to gather at least 50 Malaysian and register them with QBC, then the Bowling Association is formed. We can have tournament, arrange for competition and promote 'Malaysia, Truly Asia'. To gather '50 Malaysian' is easy but not for 'Who Love to Bowl', so it is a long way, really. During the session, I almost saw a history to be made at QBC, or maybe in Qatar. This one bowler almost scoring a perfect game, 300 pinfall. you guess what was the actual score...???....when I said almost I really meant almost closed to 300, - the score was 299, only the last frame (frame 12), the pin down was 9, what a thrilled...!!! It was the tournament, only practice, normal session, but he is the regular and skilled bowler, I could recognise from the face.

A Little bit of Frustration but ......

Just got back from Corniche, but not straight away, stop by @ Al Naurah Pizza. The Pizza base is very crunchy and tasty, this week, almost every night have to take a piece.

We went there (Corniche) with Rizal's Family (Yati + Mawi World+Maisarah+Farhan) since 5pm to support "Bid Celebration", and speaking of that, there a bit of frustration bcos there what so called celebration event is not as expected, or maybe this is what we should expect...!
.......but it was not so bad and in fact not bad at all because we sat there until 10.40pm, having Nasik Lemak, Telur mata sapi, daging goreng, pastry etc. The temp was so nice, cool breeze air all the time. Never having a picnic with nasik lemak at Rumailah/Bida Park before, and really cool me off. A very relaxing time, and for the kids, they having a good time too, with Roller Skate and all.

The Fireworks presentation is almost 1/2hr (not exactly), but it's happening.....!! didn't have tripod to for holding the camera to capture the event, hence the result..................not nice ...heehh
We (Me/My family) went there with 3 kids but got back with 4 .....hhuummmmm who was the extra one ------->


This is Mawi, Rizal's kid, he had a sleep over tonight...!! MAWI/ASNAWI, you're most welcome, and Rizal, don't worry I won't ask him to do the chores...he he he..



Tomorrow....eeh..eehh...today actually planning to Bowl @ QBC. Been invited to join a few geng for Crabbing/fishing at (sounds like) meissama - way to Al Khor. Can't join them, coz planned to bowl and maybe getting the roller skate for kid and eehemm....me kot ha ha ha...

Accidental Hero

A little bit late to the office today...! There always few traffic jammed on the way..! Al-Corniche route, I thought that only during Ramadan it always be happening but not...Anyway, today we are planning to join the crowd for the Bid Celebrations. Seen a few big (not so big for rich country like Qatar...) white screen starting from the middle, where the antelope species(Oryx Mascot) standing up to the lepak area near Sheraton. Thinking of parking the car there and walk along Corniche Walking Path, don't know my kids/wife could afford to walk or not, but definitely I can foresee a big crowd, with a little bit of showing-off (from some people) and a terribly 'Sardine' like stuck (in the dark) on the road tonight, but what the heck once in a blue moon.

Don't know Rizal's (kentz) family and Others....maybe they have their own plan, or maybe I could use their escape route.


Plan to escape to QBC after that, [after the fireworks (they say..!), or Nancy Ajram's song ( if she is performing- my kids are the Ajram-Natic - now they learned arabic through her song, we bought the CD for >QR50 ...], maybe after a few frames, then we'll go home. If got stuck very badly in the crowd, then tomorrow definitely it ( to QBC coz very long time don't see the lanes --- we love to bowl like crazy...! besides solving the most challenging SUDOKU, you can see from the trophy earned by K.Pah and Che Aiman, within 2 wks here, during MAQ Bowling Merdeka Tournament)And also I'm the only M'sian who enter the Ramadan Tournament, which the prize money for A-Bowler QR 15k, and B-Bowler QR10k. I did the MQ (Master Qualifying) for 3 times only, 3 games for each one, and the best 6 games will be count to for selecting the best 16 bowlers in each category. Then the best 8, 4, 2 and lastly the champ.

I could not go and do the MQ so often coz, you know Ramadan is the month of AMAL so ....eeeheemmm..!

My average so far here, in QBC would be 180, I could not find the consistency here, maybe due to psychology effect, or maybe we are not bringing our own ball(...excuses!), or maybe I have to change from Spinner to playing the 'Hook'. Thought of getting the hooked ball here, 14-15lbs, spin ball for my weight is only 12lbs max, and there are nobody else here in QBC playing spin ball, that is why I'm nervous, thinking of it might be illegal for a certain House.(--because of the oiling, etc --- just guessing) and this is the psychology that I was talking about! Actually bowling is not the energy sport, we compete mentally and definitely not like soccer, where the score could go more than infinity (we also beaten in futsal - 0-20/0-16 against Qatari's team in the Tournament recently - I'll talk about that later) it is the game of mind, we are playing, fighting with own-self, high discipline, planning carefully, taking time before throwing the ball and hitting the 'right' pocket, maybe just like golf but who are bowling can't go for golf because it will jeopardize the swing.
