Mid-Week Practice

Just got back from QBC. Tonight practice consistent....3 games for 210,186 and 196. Not so impressed but ok.
Now my first game always >200 pinfall. My training would be designed to catch-up the 'open' game either in the beginning or at the middle.

Before writing this I was receiving comment from Rahim-Kinrara about the improvement in bowling. Thanks Rahim, how about your score? Hope still running to Mega-Lane Sri Petaling for practice..?


I will be practicing on weekdays also, but the time will be 6 - 8.30 pm if with family and from 9-11pm if with My-Team.

Aiza also ask to go to QBC every day, and if we didn't go there for a week it's like haven't done nothing for a month. But for weekdays we have to stick to a schedule cos the kids have school to go to in the morning.




We did go to PaPa John Pizza @ Sana's Round-about.

UFBQ League for MY-Team on 27 Jan '08

4 Malaysian bowlers in Qatar were invited to join UFBQ(United Filipino Bowling of Qatar) League, every Sunday. Our team is named 'MY-Team' stand for 'Malaysia Team' since they are all Pinoys and we are the only M'sian, and we are so proud of it (Patriotism).
For tonight's game here are the report.

They are (from left) Zu(reserved), Me, Saiful(Giant), Esham and Faizal(J1/Jai) not in the picture, congrats to him also for a new born baby. Actualy he just arrived from KL delivering his new born.

My Fist game was as pix on the left. Overall was ok, and great for me for having 234 in a tournament.








On the right was our total for 3 games(the no 3 on top left corner indicates no of games played w/out reseting the total score)

I'm quit happy now with total score of 617 for 3 games (>200 avg). I said quite happy but not comfortable enough to stay at this level.

Yesterday practice also I was in the mood of hitting the high score with the open frame coming in the sixth, what a shame. I couldn't set my mind of not thinking about the score, that why the split (2,5&10 pin) coming.
But tonight's game I was ready for the next level.
I was open for the first 2 frame in the 3rd game but could recover at least 181 and in the second almost the same. I was open in the first and third but recover by hitting more strike than spare, end-up with 202.
Anyway, I will update more on bowling for sure.

Bowling Updates 2008, Jan 22

Rumour that the fee will be increase to 8 QR (members) and 10 QR (Non-members), but last night the staff at QBC are saying that that will not going to happen, due to complaints even from rich people(Qatari).

Alhamdullillah, still can bowl as usual.

This was on 22 Jan after not bowling for 2 days, feeling like > a week.

Just for my records, now I'm quite comfortable (a little bit) of having no < style="text-align: right;">

We have new toy now. Mazda3 1.6 Sports Hatchback....! Actually it's for the wife...not me, I'm still having ACADIA GMC with not functional seat bealt and Roof Airbag..!(still not repaired due to unavailability of spare parts).

Hari ni Hujan dah berhenti. Jalan masuk ke kawasan compound pun dah kering di waktu petang. Macam biasa selepas ambik Mam terus ke QBC. Jumpa Shalin di sana bersama 2 official dan 4 bowlers. Mereka akan mulakan sessi MQ esok mulai 10 pagi/2 ptg. Total squad esok ada 4, 5ptg dan 9 mlm.

Malam ni macam biasalah, sessi training bersama anak2 dan Saiful(Giant).
Performance, mmmmmm tak berapa menarik walaupun, beberapa game >200.



Consistency masih di cari-cari.
Balingan yg sesuai, teknik, board aroaching, arrowing, etc.

DOHA ACADEMY

DOHA ACADEMY is the best...!!! Says Aiman. Is that so..? I wonder..! maybe because, now they got used to it, or maybe for some other reasons (for the kids). As parents, it is ok, for a normal school but as Int. School, and with the fee of >QAR15,000 a yr, it is below PAR. But what can we do, as compared to others in the State of Qatar, it is one of the good one (in its own/class).



My 2 kids, they are liking it, the classmates, the teachers, the sirs even the bus drivers(even they are not using them).
My kids, there are really good at what ever they are doing, no matter where they were...!

Flooding in DOHA...?

It has been raining all day since 2 days ago and stop for a break yesterday, then resume again today....! Even it is not so heavy like KL, but if continuously raining, for sure will be flooded. I don't think the drainage systems better than what we have in those having monsoon season as a lifestyle.

This pix (left, bottom left and right) was taken @ National Car Co, behind Jarir Book Store. I was there this morning to send Shah's Car for 15,000KM Service. It seems impossible to go thru the 0.5 feet of water, but after looking at other passerby car then it was possible.

I have to park the car and get back on the street, pick it up in the noon, the only problem is how can I get back on the street without being wet by rain or more seriously by this flood...? Well I ask them to send me to Jarir.

Bowling Updates In Doha...

We did buy new camera-CyberShot - T200. Then the below updates is the test drive of it


Today is the third day for Qatar International Open, and today we have 2 squads scheduled for 5pm and 8.30pm. Still no international bowlers coming (they will be expected before the last day). I was informed to be welcoming our National bowlers, Shalin and few more (5 of them), 3 ladies and 2 men.

Anyway, the fee is not yet allowable for me to enter with the current average. Hopefully in the next one, and this one will be the benchmark.


Anyway, I never missed attending the event, well what else can we do in Doha in the season, cold weather and all. A few pix of my future champs in actions will be updated from time to time together with my current score, if you believe me (esp K.Jane/Untie Dudek from the kids).

...and me.......I never missed bowling in a day sin a month ago......believe it or not....

Problem....Still....

Remember the other day, when my tire explode and the airbags(2 sides) also burst from the top ceiling of my GMC...? yup...!!! the car is still not ready....It becomes a problem to us now, but Thanks to King (Raja), for lending his car (up until now) since then. and almost >3wks now, damned. Supposed the expected delivery date is today, but they said (MANAAI) the insurance still did not approved for the estimate and the airbag still not coming to the w/shop..!!!(what...? they think the airbag has feet to walk by itself...!! huhh..!)

Long before, they said everything was ok, the insurance, the repair etc, but now totally the opposite..! The insurance do not pay your what so called 'Lost Of Use' damage claim to you here, I don't know what is the car insured for in the first place!

Then, I think I need to return King's car and have to find alternative. To rent...mmmm for how long? 100 a day, for how long...! so I thing I'm gonna have to go and look for 2nd car now for Mam since she's already started working. Currently, I'll drop kids, and go to Office, sign attendance (which is not important at all....manual record) then off to send Mam to Markhiya (her office), which is still early for her (9-5 daily w/hours).


Anyway, it's all dugaan/cubaan/godaan, Insyallah, praise to Allah Almighty, and Alhamdulillah with all we have and what will come. Redhaa'.

New Day Today....

Again it's a new day....still do have to update this with Aiza and Aina waking-up eventhough early morning has to go to School (Doha Academy). It's the first day in 2008, since holiday on 13th Dec
2007.

Me I've to go to PEP Course (Performance Evaluation Program..maybe the meaning) @ Abu Harmour QTel Training Centre. But tomorrow will be a new routine since my wife has already started working @ XM-Gulf in Markhiya, so my routine will be --sending kids to School---- Sending Mam to work---then finally sending myself to QTel (working of course....), tomorrow, opppss... today already early morning, 6.30am will be the pilot day.

This is Zaza. She's 3++ on 10 Dec last year (2007), but we never had a cake yet for her. Maybe this week, or the latest before end of Jan 2008.

All orders delivered, Momentum 14lbs ball, 2 ball roller bag, hello kitty bag and lastly 'Hello Kitty' 10 lbs ball belongs to Che Aina Husna.

Esok nak drill finger holes for her. Here the price for drilling can reach up to 200 per ball, inclusive insert, slug etc. expensive haahhh....mmmmm 'QATAR'lah katakan. So, meaning, if the ball is from US (Order tru internet..) the cost (total for 1 ball-14lbs)....mmmmm 1200QR.... but the best thing is you can choose the latest and the one that not yet available here-Qatar. Kalau kat M'sia lain cerita.
